Survive Hingga Clinical Year Part 3: White Coat Ceremony

Like i said in my previous post,petang semalam ada white coat ceremony at UCD O'Reilly Hall. This ceremony basically marks the beginning of our clinical year. Another 2.5 years of pure torture before we get our license to killtreat people.

It's like a mini convocation lah jugak,maybe sebab pihak universiti tahu kita-kita yang dah nak balik Malaysia ni tak merasa nak grad dekat Ireland,so dia kasi can lah berangan konon macam dah grad.

As the name suggests,in this ceremony we were given our official UCD lab coat. Kira macam simbolik ibu burung melepaskan anaknya terbang keluar sarang. Wadefak betul perumpamaan.

Turutan nama adalah mengikut nama bapak. Jadi i was the third on the list. Macam dekat exam hall,nama selalu nombor 3 dari depan,saja nak kasi nervous lebih.

Lepas semua 200+ students dah dapat white coat masing-masing,its pictah time!!!! Ramai betul photographer nak ambik gambar,terus feeling celebrity.

It was a fun and memorable ceremony walaupun tak sempat makan sebab yang seafood and vege sandwiches semua habis. I know it wont get any easier from now on,sebab the last 2.5 years pun dah macam nak gila inikan pulak nak masuk clinical then nak start kerja. Scary gila sebenarnya,but i know i have awesome friends and family that'll help me get through this. Just like in the past 2.5 years. Owh dan tak lupa to blog readers yang sentiasa doakan yang baik-baik =)
