Hari Minggu Yang Hoohah

I am the most anti social person in Dublin. Really. I prefer to stay at home on weekends, even kalau keluar pun selalu keluar sorang. I dont know why but kalau jalan sorang-sorang tu walaupun kadang-kadang rasa macam loser sikit tapi sungguh menenangkan.

But lately sejak dah nak balik Malaysia,i feel like i need to get out more. Sementara tengah tak sibuk dan sementara ada peluang nak berjalan-jalan dengan rakan baik yang bakal ditinggalkan tak lama lagi.

So on friday,i went to the city. Mula-mula pergi Laduree and bought some macaroons. Bajet nak makan time tengok movie tapi sebab gelojoh tak bertempat,movie tak start dah habis semua dah. We watched 127 Hours.

Director dia yang buat cerita Slumdog Millionaire tuh. Basically this movie is about sorang mamat ni yang panjat gunung as a hobby. Tiba-tiba tangan dia terselit celah batu long story short dia terperangkap celah batu for 127 hours,ALONE.So pengalaman beliau untuk survive tu lah plot utama cerita ni. Its a really good movie albeit a bit boring at some parts.To escape,beliau terpaksa potong tangan sendiri. Sumpah ngeri gila. Btw this is based on a true story.

The highlight of this movie for me was (spoiler)scene waktu dia patahkan tulang tangan dia sendiri. Waktu tu tiba-tiba ada sorang minah irish in front of us mengerang. I thought dia sawan ke apa,rupanya dia mengigau. Jahanam gila perangai tengok movie tidur sampai mengigau. Memang tak boleh bawak majlis. Satu wayang pusing tengok apahal dengan minah ni,sumpah kelakar.

Then semalam i went to the city lagi sekali to go to the Wheel of Dublin.

Like i said before,i bought the voucher on citydeal.ie. So 2 tiket harga 6 euro je. Kalau takde diskaun macamni jangan harap i nak naik mendalah ferris wheel nih. For a 3 euro ticket,i must say it was worth it.

This ferris wheel is located in the modern part of the city,a lot of constructions going on around. So the view wasnt that spectacular.

After that we went to Howth for dinner. Howth is a small town tepi laut. Agak jauh from city centre but kalau naik Dart(its like KTM),only takes half an hour je. Its already dark when we get there,so tak sight seeing pun,straight away makan.

I forgot the name of the restaurant,but it was a gorgeous restaurant. The ambience is so jiwengs romantika.

-they offered free wine,but we changed it to non-alcoholic beer.which tasted like SH*T

The food was awesome. We had a 3 course meal starting with these;

-seafood salad

-seafood chowder

The only main course that we can eat from the menu is a pan fried seabass because the fish pie ada white wine sauce. Tapi the seabass pun sungguh marvellous.

By the time nak order dessert i was already full. Plus the uncomfortable feeling in my stomach most probably due to that awful beer so i order plain ice cream je. But my friend had chocolate brownie.(which was really good)

Today another friend who lives in the city is having some makan-makan. So campur harini maka lengkaplah hatrick keluar city 3 hari berturut. Kini tidak anti-social lagi.
